I have been attending Liz’s yoga classes for about a year now since moving to the area. No matter how stressful my day has been or how much work still needs doing at home, everything is soon forgotten upon entering the tranquility of her yoga studio. Her classes are relaxing, yet also invigorating with a wonderful balance between relaxation/mediatation, stretching and cardiovascular excercise. Liz always asks about any injuries we may have at the start of the class, and is mindful of these throughout the class, helping us to adapt poses to suit us. Liz has particularly helped with problems I have in my hips and back, and I’m looking forward to continue to develop my yoga practice with Liz!

Patricia Waldron Have been attending Liz’s Thursday morning class since it started. Great teacher, always very cheerful and enthusiastic. She seems to have the ability to understand one’s capabilities at a very early stage of attending her class and will encourage you to stretch yourself without doing any harm. Have really ’dodgy’ knees at the moment but Liz will always find an alternative exercise if I struggle. Really sad that she is moving house and leaving with it her lovely yoga studio. We will find it hard find another teacher as caring and understanding. Our loss is Shrewsbury’s gain.I have thoroughly enjoyed my classes with Liz. Relaxing, fun but above all brilliant for mobility and peace of mind. Liz’s approach is both professional and welcoming

I love Mondays (yoga class with Liz)! I always feel amazing afterwards and love the combination of aerobic activity, stretching and relaxation. Liz draws on her medical background to explain the muscles and joints used in each pose and is very knowledgable about the history and philosophy behind yoga so, as well as a having a great workout, I learn a lot.

As a long term sufferer of a stiff back which occasionally goes into spasm, I am inherently wary of any back exercises that could trigger further trouble. However in 2 years of attending Liz’s classes she has always been mindful of my concerns and the outcomes have always been that my back ends up looser and free of pain.
The 10 minute relaxation (sleep) at the end is brilliant too!

I am part of this Thursday group and would really encourage anyone to come and join us. I had bad back and neck ache and practicing with Liz has not only helped with this but my shoulders and hips are now much more flexible. As mentioned before, Liz is always mindful of any problems we have and either adapts the whole class if appropriate or suggests alternatives for individuals. I love this class and it has really helped my mindset to get out and do more! Will continue as long as possible!
